Welcome! Our charming Otsego Lake Cottages at Hyde Bay Colony in Cooperstown, New York, are the perfect vacation rental homes-away-from-home when you are visiting Central New York. Both cottages are on the peaceful, eastern shore of Otsego Lake. We also have a lovely guest appartment at our country home just outside the Village of Cooperstown. Or, if you are planning a visit to Downeast Maine or North Coastal Florida, we have a lovely vacation home available in each of those locatons as well.
Cooperstown, New York
Known as Lake & Country Cottagesin and around Cooperstown, we have two cottages on Otsego Lake at Hyde Bay Colony and one guest apartment at our home. Hyde Bay Colony is a lovely wooded site with a long stretch of waterfront including docks, sandy beach, grassy lake front lawn and bonfire pit. We also have a shady picnic area above our seawall, a shuffleboard court, and places where guests can set up volleyball or other activities. Our cottages, SUNNYSIDE and SHADYSIDE, have porches and decks and are nicely furnished with absolutely everything you'll need for a relaxing vacation.
The Garden Guest Apartment at our country home just outside the Village of Cooperstown welcomes guests to enjoy our home's porches, patio and grounds. The apartment is very nicely furnished and offers panpramic views of the Leatherstocking Creek valley and the Brookwood Creek north ridge.
All are just a short drive to the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Glimmerglass Opera, the Baseball Dreamspark, the New York State Historical Society Farmers' Museum and Fenimore Art Museum, and many wonderful local shops, restarants, antique shops, recreation, live theater, colleges, and so much more- all in beautiful, rural Central New York.

Eastport, Maine
Our Eastport house is a charming, turn-of-the-last-century gabled house. Eastport, Maine, is the easternmost place in the United States- every morning the sun rises on Eastport before anywhere else in America! Eastport itself is a small, quaint, port city on Maine's northern rocky coast. Enjoy great saltwater fishing from the wharf at the downtown waterfront, take an excursion on a sailing vessel, or enjoy whale watching, deep sea fishing or lobster boat touring. The fresh seaford here is absolutely the best! Our house is three blocks from the waterfront and Eastport's charming shopping/dining district. The house is simple but comfortably and completely furnished. It's a great place to relax or to use as a base for day trips to other points in Maine and Canada.

Saint Augustine Beach, Florida
Our St. Augustine Beach house is a contemporary brick ranch in a quiet, residential neighborhood within walking distance of the breathtaking white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. St. Augustine Beach is a small city on Anastasia Island just over the causeway from St. Augustine, Florida, America's oldest city. Walk or bike from our house to the ocean beach or visit the shops and restaurants on colorful Beach Blvd. Public parks host weekly farmers' markets, free evening concerts and other community events. Tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce courts and playgrounds can also be found in nearby parks. Our house is light and airy and air conditioned! The rooms are large and nicely furnished. The neighborhood is quiet, making this a great place to relax when you're not at the beach, or to use as a base for short trips to Saint Augustine and other points in Northern Florida and Sounthern Georgia.
